The Top Films of 2015

Welcome to our 3rd annual Top Films of the year episode! We’re proud of this show and proud of how far we’ve come since our first episode. Huge thanks to anyone who has listened to us and stuck with us. Any newcomers? We hope you stay! Between the two of us we see basically everything throughout the year.

For this episode we break down our Top 10 films of 2015, and also discuss our honourable mentions. We also briefly discuss the three worst films we saw all year. If you like what you hear throw us a like, subscribe and comment!

To another year of watching great films!

Cheers!

21 – The Definitive Top Films of 2014

In which we discuss our Top 10 films of 2014 and also discuss our films we ranked from 11-20. What a great year in film! We also choose films that flew under the radar and need more love. The audio is slightly off but Adrian did what he could to restore it. Thank you so much for checking us out. This marks 1 year of The Green Screen of Death. We’re here to stay, we hope you stick with us. Cheers!

Top 10 Films of 2013

Thank you for checking out our new podcast! We failed to mention our good friends over at RowThree.com Their podcast is called “After the Credits” featuring Marina, Dale and Colleen. Without their podcast we wouldn’t be here. Bill has appeared as a guest host and is practically a festival reporter for After the Credits. Adrian has appeared there a couple of times. Please check out their show, we thrive to be just as entertaining and fun!

Our first episode covers 2013 in film. We talk about honorable mentions, worst films, top ten. For the bonus round we also talked about underrated films, posed three questions to each other, highlited two films (each) that you need to see in 2014 and we wrap things up.

This is our first attempt at recording a podcast on our own and we learned A LOT! We apologize for the length. This one is bulky because we had so much to cover in our first episode. Perhaps we should have broken it down into two episodes. It’s a learning process for us. To make things easier we have included a basic outline below along with the timeline if you want to skip certain segments of the show. You won’t hurt our feelings if you do this! (Don’t tell Adrian, he gets sensitive!)

1:54 – Introductions
7:20 – Why is this show called “The Green Screen of Death?”
10:25 – Outline of the episode
12:00 – Honorable mentions
18:20 – Worst films of 2013
38:10 – Top Ten
99:55 – Underrated films
105:20 – Three Questions – Best horror film not named You’re Next? Best performance nobody is talking about? Worst festival film that didn’t make the worst films list?
112:30 – Two films You Must See in 2014 – We each offer two films
119:10 – Closure

Opening Song – “Please Mr. Kennedy” – Justin Timberlake, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver

Closing Song – “King of Hearts Le Repos” – Georges Delerue

Thank you!!
